Background
The United States Government (USG), represented by the Department of State’s Office of the Coordinator of U.S. Assistance to Europe, Eurasia, and Central Asia (EUR/ACE), is initiating an initiative aimed at promoting U.S. engagement and investment in the critical minerals sector in Ukraine. This initiative aligns with the goals of the U.S.-Ukraine Reconstruction Investment Fund and seeks to enhance U.S. supply chain resilience, business opportunities, and economic partnerships with Ukraine.

Ukraine possesses significant reserves of critical minerals essential for modern technologies and renewable energy systems, positioning it as a strategic partner for diversifying critical mineral supply chains.
