Background
The U.S. Department of Labor's Employment and Training Administration (ETA) announces the availability of additional funding to support states' ongoing administrative activities associated with certain CARES Act Unemployment Compensation programs. This funding aims to cover ongoing administrative costs related to reporting, data retention, audit-related and oversight activities, efforts to detect, establish and recover overpayments, and financial reconciliation efforts associated with the Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA), Pandemic Emergency Unemployment Compensation (PEUC), and Federal Pandemic Unemployment Compensation (FPUC) programs.

Grant Details
States may apply for up to $182.38 million in administrative funding distributed as follows: up to $103 million for PUA, $25 million for PEUC, $51.2 million for FPUC, and $3.18 million for Section 2105 of the CARES Act. The funding is intended for ongoing program integrity efforts, data integrity and reporting activities, audit-related activities, and other administrative costs associated with these programs. States must administer these programs in accordance with the CARES Act and provide required reports while properly allocating costs across UC programs.

Eligibility Requirements
State Workforce Agencies that signed an Agreement with the Secretary of Labor in March 2020 to administer the PUA, FPUC, and PEUC programs are eligible to apply for this funding.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this award begins July 1, 2024, and ends September 30, 2025.

Grant Value
The total value of the grant opportunity is up to $182.38 million, with individual allocations being up to $103 million for PUA, $25 million for PEUC, $51.2 million for FPUC, and $3.18 million for Section 2105.

Place of Performance
The grant will be performed in all states that administer the specified unemployment compensation programs.
