Description

Grants for Arts Projects (GAP) provides project-based funding for organizations in the areas of Arts Education, Challenge America, Dance, Design & Our Town, Folk & Traditional Arts, Literary Arts, Local Arts Agencies, Museums, Music, Opera, Presenting & Multidisciplinary Works, Theater & Musical Theater, and Visual and Media Arts. Funded activities may include a wide range of arts projects described in the application guidelines. Awards require a 1:1 cost share. We welcome applications from first-time and returning applicants; from organizations serving rural, urban, suburban, and tribal communities of all sizes; and from organizations with a range of operating budgets. Eligible applicants include: nonprofit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3), U.S. organizations; units of state or local government; and Federally recognized tribal communities or tribes. Funding in this category is not available for individuals, fiscally sponsored entities, commercial/for-profit enterprises, State Arts Agencies (SAA), or Regional Arts Organizations (RAO).

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is committed to utilizing advanced technologies and scientific expertise to enhance national safety.

The DHS Science and Technology Directorate (S&T) is responsible for researching and organizing the scientific, engineering, and technological resources of the United States, transforming these resources into tools that bolster homeland security.

The Cisco Maintenance Renewal task is integral to this mission, focusing on the management of infrastructure and cost control for S&T's Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO).

Grant Details
The Cisco Maintenance Renewal encompasses the renewal of hardware and software maintenance, licenses, and support for various Cisco devices deployed across S&T’s network. This includes:
1. **SmartNet Renewal**: Comprehensive technical support for routers, switches, wireless LAN controllers, and access points, including hardware replacement and software updates.
2. **Security Licenses/Support**: Technical support for firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention devices, web security appliances, and remote access solutions.
3. **Flex Licenses/Support**: Subscription model support for Cisco Collaboration products such as Webex® Calling and Meetings.
4. **Informacast Licenses/Support**: Notification software that enhances emergency alerting capabilities through Cisco devices.
5. **Advanced Services – HTOM/HTTS**: A single point of contact for maintenance issues with 24X7 access to US-based technical specialists.
6. **ThousandEyes**: A monitoring platform providing visibility into network performance across environments.
7. **Security ISE & Wireless Support**: Enhanced configuration support for Cisco Identity Services Engine and Wireless platforms.

Eligibility Requirements
Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations with 501(c)(3) status, units of state or local government, and federally recognized tribal communities or tribes. Individuals, fiscally sponsored entities, commercial enterprises, State Arts Agencies (SAA), or Regional Arts Organizations (RAO) are not eligible.

Period of Performance
The period of performance is twelve (12) months from the date of award.
