Background
The Museums for America (MFA) program, administered by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), aims to invest in museums of all sizes and disciplines. The program supports project-based efforts that serve the public through educational programs, exhibits, community partnerships, and collections stewardship activities.

Grant Details
The MFA program encourages projects that:

Projects must align with one of three goals: Lifelong Learning (supporting public programs and exhibitions), Community Engagement (improving access through collaborative efforts), or Collections Stewardship and Access (enhancing management and care of collections).
