Grant Details
The Program Manager Ground Weapons Systems (PM GWS), Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM), seeks industry input to identify the availability and sourcing of the COMROD radio antenna.

The AN/VRC-146 is a vehicular mounted tactical multi-band radio system designed and assembled by the United States Marine Corps. This configuration was constructed using commercially available products from vendors such as L3 Harris, COMROD Communications, and the Defense Logistics Agency.

The AN/VRC-146 provides interoperability with currently deployed radios by supporting legacy waveforms while incorporating new waveforms as they become available. It offers dual amplification of two independently configurable channels.

The Receiver/Transmitter 2034C associated with the AN/VRC-146 is a multi-channel Software Designed Radio (SDR) capable of operating from 30 Megahertz (MHz) – 2.5 Gigahertz (GHz). The COMROD Antenna is required to meet the requirements for a High Fidelity (HF) digital frequency hopping radio.

Eligibility Requirements
Eligible organizations include those that can provide proof of manufacturing, estimated unit price, compliance with the Berry Amendment / Buy American Act, and must indicate their business size according to North American Industry Classification System: 541519 (Other Computer Related Services).
