Description

USAID Bureau for Global Health's (GH) Office of Population and Reproductive Health (PRH) will implement the Accelerating ChoiCe, Equity, and Sustainability for Services (ACCESS) award, which aims to improve SRH and related health outcomes among individuals across the life course. The award will reach underserved populations, with a particular focus on those who face the greatest inequities in FP/RH service delivery, including adolescents/youth and other marginalized groups, such as persons with disabilities, Indigenous Peoples, racial and ethnic minorities, persons living in extreme poverty, and LGBTQI+ persons many of whom have intersecting identities.

Grant Details
The funding opportunity is authorized under the Foreign Assistance Act (FAA) of 1961. The resulting award will be subject to 2 CFR 200 – Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards, and USAID’s supplement, 2 CFR 700. The goal of ACCESS is to strengthen reproductive empowerment among individuals and communities who are often left out and underserved as a result of a range of persistent barriers and other access challenges.

The award will improve access to FP/RH care by advancing excellence, innovation, and best practices in equitable programming in multiple countries that receive USAID FP/RH funding. It will expand equitable, affordable, and sustainable access to FP/RH, including integration with related health services such as HIV, gender-based violence (GBV) prevention and response, and maternal, newborn, and child health (MNCH), as relevant and appropriate.
