Industry Day Event - A site tour is authorized prior to the proposal due date. The time, date, and access requirements for each Contractor to participate in the site tour are as follows: (a) A pre-proposal event will be conducted at Camp Roberts, CA, on 11 March, 2020 from 0930-1600 for the purpose of answering questions regarding this solicitation. During this event, the Government will provide a tour of the premises where the Energy Production Facility (EPF) will be constructed. Please be advised that due to the sensitive nature of the location of the proposed Leased Premises, cameras are allowed but some photos may be restricted. (b) Registration: The Camp Roberts/USASA Pre-Proposal Event is an industry focused event, and is limited to two (2) persons per company. Registration opens immediately and is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Registration closes when capacity is reached or 28 February 2020 - whichever comes first. Foreign nationals must be vetted by the State Department in order to gain access to the installation which is a lengthy process and may not be completed in time for the event. Any individuals who have not been vetted prior to the event will be turned away. Please plan accordingly. Any individuals who have not been vetted prior to the event will be turned away. Additional location details will be available on the registration page after registering. (e) Miscellaneous: Cancellation Policy: Because this event has a limited capacity, it is respectfully requested that after you have registered and your plans change/you cannot attend, please immediately notify Army OEI (usarmy.pentagon.hqda-asa-iee.mbx.energy-initiatives@mail.mil). Notification is requested such that persons/organizations that may have been turned away based on first-come, first-serve procedures can be granted attendance. Dress Code: Civilian Business Casual Army Duty Uniform o All attendees should come fully prepared as weather and site conditions are not forecasted. It is recommended to wear appropriate shoes to tour the proposed project sites. Conference Check-in: Once attendees arrive at the event location, there will be a check-in process beginning at 0930. Presentations will begin promptly at 1000. Lunch: Lunch will be available at the Camp Roberts dining facility for $5.00. Only cash is accepted.
