Industry Day for the Sabine Pass to Galveston Bay Program
Port Arthur Project
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Galveston District and the Jefferson County
Drainage District No. 7 will host an Industry Day for interested contractors on May 6, 2022, from
9 11 a.m. at the Carl A. Parker Multipurpose Center, 1800 Lakeshore Drive, Port Arthur, Texas
77640.
The purpose of the event is to engage in an Early Exchange of Information among all interested
parties to present upcoming work opportunities for the Sabine Pass to Galveston Bay Programs
Port Arthur Project, help small businesses navigate through the contracting process, and provide
an opportunity for businesses to network and meet potential vendors and subcontractors.
The Government will evaluate the level of local subcontracting participation proposed by
competing offerors as part of the source selection process and anticipates that prime offerors
will utilize the opportunity to engage in discussions with the local subcontracting community.
This event is open to all businesses, both small and large, interested in working with USACE
Galveston District and will include presentations from USACE and an open forum for participants
to meet with district staff.
To register for the event, please go to www.s2g-port-arthur-project.eventbrite.com.
