STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)

1.0BACKGROUND

Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) has the need to procure bottled water service due to lack of water supply at various locations.

3.0REQUIREMENTS

3.1 The contractor shall provide hot/cold water coolers as listed on attachment (1) and varying amounts of 5 gallon bottles of spring water on a monthly basis for twelve (12) months to each building identified on attachment 1. The contractor shall only provide the same number of full bottles as those that were picked up empty with each monthly delivery. The total amount of full bottles delivered shall not exceed the monthly total requested on the purchase order. The government will not pay for any full bottles left at the site exceeding the amount of empty bottles collected on a single visit.

3.2 The contractor shall make all deliveries to NSWCDD and Pumpkin Neck site in a single day. No split deliveries will be accepted. Items 0001, 0003-0009 shall be delivered to the Dahlgren Site at each building as stated on attachment (1) and item 0002 shall be delivered to Building 9401, NSWCDD, 9356 Pumpkin Neck Rd, King George, VA 22485. Item 0010 shall only be billed at the end of the base year and at the end of each option year, if any water bottles are determined to be lost from the original start count.

3.3 The contractor shall provide an invoice that contains the following at a minimum:

a. Number of bottles delivered x monthly cost plus date of delivery

b. Custodian’s name, Building number, & Purchase order number

3.4 Delivery shall occur Monday through Friday from the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. No deliveries will be made on government holidays.

3.5 Optional – The contractor shall provide four (4) additional, 12 months of service per the attached requirements listing. The contractor shall receive 30 days notice prior to start of new period of performance if this option is so exercised.

4.0GOVERNMENT-FURNISHED PROPERTY/MATERIAL/INFORMATION (GFP/GFM/GFI)

The Government will provide access to the work site for delivery.

5.0SECURITY

All work to be performed under this SOW is UNCLASSIFIED.

6.0TRAVEL

The contractor will be required to travel in performance of this contract. The number of trips and types of personnel traveling shall be limited to the minimum required to accomplish work requirements and shall be coordinated with the technical point of contact. All travel shall be conducted in accordance with the Federal Travel Regulations (FTR).
