STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)
USS JEFFERSON CITY TEMPORARY DIESEL GENERATOR

GENERAL

The contractor to provide a properly rated and load-tested one megawatt Diesel Generator
with 12 pigtail cables to connect from lugs on the diesel generator to the
connections on DZSP21 shore power cables. Diesel generator and cables to be
provided to USS JEFFERSON CITY at four weeks triple shift rate.

REQUIREMENTS

Diesel Generator must meet the following specifications:

2.1.1 Diesel Generator must provide a minimum of 800 Kilowatt three phase AC

power to four major shore power cables at 400 amps per cable.

2.1.2 Contractor shall deliver diesel generator to Alpha Pier on Polaris Point
Navy Base and pick up from same location at end of contract.

2.1.3 Contractor shall coordinate with Naval Base Guam Visitor Control Center

(VCC) in advance to ensure delivery team has appropriate access to base
and pier.

Diesel Generator pigtail cables must meet the following specifications:

2.2.1 Diesel Generator pigtail cables must be at least 6 feet in length.

2.2.2 Diesel Generator pigtail cables must have 500mm cam lock fittings to allow

connection from lugs on the diesel generator to the connections on DZSP21
shore power cables.

2.2.3 Diesel Generator pigtail cables must support a total of 400 amps for each of four

major DZSP shore power cables, connected to Diesel Generator by 3 pigtail
cables each.

LOCATION: Alpha Pier on Polaris Point Navy Base

NOTES:

All modifications must have written approval by Contracting Officer prior to work
commencing.

Contractor shall remove equipment within 24 hour notice in emergent situation due to
inclement weather.

Contractor to deliver diesel generator to Alpha Pier on first day of period of performance
and to remove diesel generator on last day of period of performance.

4.3.1 Contractor to coordinate with Naval Base Guam VCC to obtain access to Polaris

4.3.2 Contractor to notify Ship Superintendent of expected time of delivery to allow
