STATEMENT OF WORK

September 20, 2021

Well 21 Development Project at 7105 N. El Mirage

OVERVIEW

The purpose of this project is to provide all material and labor for the development of a new water well, entitled, “Well 21” at Luke AFB, with an estimated depth of approximately 930 ft.

DEFINITION OF TERMS

“Contractor” defines all contractors bidding on this project.

“Luke AFB” refers to the contractual party receiving all bids.

“Project” shall refer to Well 21 Project at 7105 N. El Mirage.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This project includes all incidental modifications to existing infrastructure needed to perform tasks as listed in description of work below.

Performance Period: all work shall be completed within 30 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed is issued. Contractor is responsible to check on all material lead-times to facilitate the Project Schedule. If any materials are not available, Contractor shall immediately notify Luke AFB POC by email and by phone.

General Requirement:

Luke AFB will furnish supplies and install new soft starter panel box with disconnect. Trench and material to install new conduit and wire to within approximately 200' of existing well. Contractor shall re-use existing meter and service entrance section.

Luke AFB will provide all materials and install a new concrete well pad, and above ground 8" (approximate diameter listed) steel piping with gate valve above ground.

There is an air compressor available onsite. If the Contractor is unable to use the air compressor, the Contractor shall rent a comparable air compressor at current market rate, plus 15% and the cost shall be added to this requirement.

Contractor shall adjust total labor required to complete the Project to the actual hours expended to finish the well development. The Contractor shall credit Luke AFB the difference between the hours estimated in the Contractor’s proposal to complete the development phase of the Project.

The Contractor shall provide a final video of the well. If development is unsuccessful, a video is not required.

The Contractor is responsible to secure all permits and licenses required by all governing authorities for the Project.

The Contractor will provide all as-built drawings, logs, and other Project paperwork as required by Luke AFB upon completion of the Well 21 Development Project.
