NEW CUMBERLAND MAINTENANCE REPAIR ARMY RESERVE OF BUILDING 315. THE WORK INVOLVES THE DESIGN-BUILD RENOVATION OF THE EXISTING TWO-STORY ARMY RESERVE CENTER TRAINING BUILDING 315 AT THE DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY (DLA) SUSQUEHANNA DISTRIBUTION CENTER IN NEW CUMBERLAND, PA, AS PART OF THE MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR ARMY RESERVES (MRAR) PROGRAM. TASKS INCLUDE RENOVATING THE FACILITY TO SUPPORT ARMY RESERVE TRAINING MISSIONS, UPGRADING FURNISHINGS AND EQUIPMENT FOR PERSONNEL, IMPLEMENTING SITE IMPROVEMENTS, AND ENSURING COMPLIANCE WITH UNITED STATES ARMY RESERVE DESIGN GUIDE AND DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE ANTITERRORISM STANDARDS FOR BUILDINGS. THE PROJECT ALSO REQUIRES DEVELOPMENT OF A MANAGEMENT PLAN WITH RISK MITIGATION, COMMISSIONING, AND QUALITY CONTROL PROCESSES, AS WELL AS EFFECTIVE COLLABORATION AND COMMUNICATION AMONG TEAM MEMBERS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE USACE DESIGN-BUILD PROCESS.
