Sauer Construction LLC, Jacksonville, Florida, was awarded a $63,895,000 firm-fixed-price contract for design and construction of a non-standard battalion operations facility. Bids were solicited via the internet with four received. Work will be performed in Fort Benning, Georgia, with an estimated completion date of Jan. 1, 2025. Fiscal 2020, 2021 and 2022 military construction, defense-wide funds in the amount of $63,895,000 were obligated at the time of the award.
