Government Description
The contractor shall supply all supervision, labor, equipment, and materials to perform all work in accordance with the contract specifications, the statement of work (SOW), and drawings to repair and replace (RPR and RPL) existing fire suppression systems for hangars 3 and 4 and the fire pump house. Includes demolishing and replacing the high expansion foam system with an automatic sprinkler system in hangars 3 and 4 (building J00003), installing a wet-pipe automatic sprinkler system in administrative support areas, and upgrading the fire alarm system to a fully addressable system with control panels and notification appliances. Additional tasks involve repairing ventilation and electrical systems, remediating asbestos-contaminated materials, repairing the fire pump house (building J00024) by replacing diesel-driven fire pumps with electrically driven fire pumps and upgrading associated systems, replacing underground water mains with new 8-IN. Class 52 Ductile Iron Piping (DIP) between the buildings, and relocating office equipment within the hangars to support repair efforts.
