Government Description
Dam tunnel and warm water slide gates. Includes replacement of the warm water slide gate system within the primary spillway structure, two bulkheads 170 ft. Below the lake water surface, and four tunnel outlet gates within the tunnel outlet structure at raystown lake dam. The project also involves full reconstruction of joints and concrete repairs within the spillway, including hydro-demolition, installation of waterstops and dowels, placement of shrinkage-compensating concrete, and final sealing of joints. Complicated crane rigging within a confined tower is required due to restricted access and challenging placements, including vertical surfaces, sloped slabs, and slippery or wet areas.

Marine Diving Solutions LLC, Centennial, Colorado, was awarded a $20,999,000 firm-fixed-price contract for replacement and construction of large-scale hydraulic mechanical gates and bulkhead work, crane rigging, and concrete demolition and repair at Raystown Lake Dam.
