FY2025 INDIAN RIVER INLET BEACH NOURISHMENT, INDIAN RIVER INLET, DELAWARE. THE U.S. ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS, PHILADELPHIA DISTRICT, IS PERFORMING BEACH RENOURISHMENT FOR THE INDIAN RIVER INLET NORTH BEACH, LOCATED IN DELAWARE SEASHORE STATE PARK, SUSSEX COUNTY. WORK CONSISTS OF RESTORING 5,000 FEET OF BEACH, INCLUDING END TAPERS, TO THE AUTHORIZED DESIGN TEMPLATE WITH A MINIMUM 60-FOOT BERM AT AN ELEVATION OF 9.2 FT NAVD AND A SLOPE OF 1V:10H ABOVE MHW, USING SAND SOURCED FROM THE INDIAN RIVER EBB SHOAL. THE PROJECT INCLUDES A BASE BID FOR RESTORATION AND UP TO THREE OPTIONS FOR ADDITIONAL SAND PLACEMENT AS ADVANCED NOURISHMENT.
