Skanska USA Building Inc., San Antonio, Texas, was awarded a $42,335,000 firm-fixed-price contract for the design, bid and build construction of building upgrades and laboratory modernization for the U.S. Department of Agriculture Knipling-Bushland Livestock Insects Research Laboratory in Kerrville, Texas. Bids were solicited via the internet with three received. Work will be performed in Kerrville, Texas, with an estimated completion date of Oct. 9, 2024.
