Government Description
Nevada Army national guard (NVARNG) requires the construction of a new Qualification Training Range (QTR) at hawthorne Army depot in Nevada, project no: 322440. The qtr will be programmed to train and test soldiers. Includes constructing a modified outdoor qtr with site access gate, flagpole, range operations control area and support buildings, four multipurpose machine gun (MPMG) and Automated Record Fire (ARF) fighting positions, 12 arf fighting positions, 222 Stationary Infantry Target (SIT) emplacements, 16 barricades, 36 target boots, four range limit markers, and 38 range lane markers. Support buildings include a range operations control tower (with range control station, instrumentation, communications, power panel, hvac, and office space), an ammunition breakdown building (ventilated, no hvac), a range operations classroom building (for at least 40 students and 1 instructor, with movable furniture, hvac, separate latrines, and storage), covered mess, and bleacher enclosure, as well as grading, drainage, utility installations, and parking area additions.
