Government Description
The contractor will provide survey, inspection, guidance, instruction and overhaul technical support to assist in the maintenance planning, repair and overhaul of small craft / ships boats. In addition, the contractor will implement a maintenance and marine production surveyor services program to assist small craft crew personnel in conducting pre/post-deployment inspections and surveys of all pacific fleet standard ships' embarked boats. The contractor will provide engineering, technical support, maintenance training, and logistical support, including performing inspections and surveys of boat components, writing survey reports and maintenance work package recommendations, assisting with assessment and renovation of components, providing engineering support using NAVSEA technical manuals, and troubleshooting and assisting in repairs of systems such as engines, electrical, mechanical, navigational, fuel, communications, radar, and steering systems. Material condition inspections and recommendations for correcting deficiencies are also included.
