The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) conducts basic and applied research for the Navy in a variety of scientific and technical disciplines, including a broadly based multidisciplinary program of scientific research and advanced technological development directed toward maritime applications of new and improved materials, techniques, equipment, systems, and ocean, atmospheric, and space sciences and related technologies. Under this award, work includes analysis, evaluation, and development of techniques and technologies for electronic attack and high-power microwave synergistic interactions in high-power electronic warfare scenarios. Nrl intends to fund research conducted with educational facilities and industry partners related to specific topics included in this Broad Agency Announcement (BAA), with a focus on long-range Science And Technology (S&T) projects that may offer advancement and improvement potential for Navy and Marine Corps operations.
