Abstract
Arcarithm s solution, Exigent-TS, is an Artificial Intelligence (AI) based filter decision aid that provides operators clear feedback for adjusting filter settings and parameters. By continuously analyzing the sensor data and monitoring changes in the background conditions within the field of view, Exigent-TS identifies necessary optical/infrared bandpass filter settings and sensor settings such as exposure time, non-uniform correction, and image coloration settings in real-time to ensure minimal missed detections and maintain the continuity of track. Moreover, Exigent-TS includes built-in explain-ability features. These features build the operator s confidence in the AI, the correct solution, and the reasoning used to reach the solution. Informative and intuitive feedback increases the operator s trust in the AI and reduces cognitive load, allowing the operation of the satellite bandpass filters and focus on the mission.
