Nov 2015:
PE Systems, Inc., Fairfax, Virginia, has been awarded a $22,477,422 firm-fixed-price contract for support to the Secretary of the Air Force acquisition directorate and other headquarters organizations. Contractor will provide information, advice, opinions, alternatives, analyses, evaluations, recommendations, information technology tools, training, and services to complement the government's expertise and to allow the government to function more efficiently. The contractor will be required to provide expertise in the areas of program analysis, policy analysis, budget and financial analysis, administrative technical support, facilities engineering, business reengineering analysis, database development, internet and intranet development, enterprise architecture development, information assurance, software application development (including modeling and simulation support), requirements development, technology analysis, legislative analysis, systems and specialty engineering support including test and evaluation expertise, acquisition life cycle specialties support, acquisition manpower development and certification, and export compliance support. Work will be performed at Fairfax, Virginia; and numerous locations within the National Capitol Region, and is expected to be complete by Dec. 31, 2016. This award is the result of a competitive acquisition with seven offers received. Fiscal 2016 operations and maintenance funds in the amount of $7,000,000 are being obligated at the time of award. Air Force District of Washington Procurement Office, Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland, is the contracting activity (FA7014-16-F-5001).
