Government Description
Travis AFB design-bid-build project to demo and replace 29,000 square yards of concrete, drainage, and PCC transitions. Includes an on-site batch plant. The work involves demolition and replacement of approximately 60,000 square yards of concrete pavement and associated underground drainage utilities at the 400 aircraft parking ramp, phases 5 and 8, including Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) transition pavement and all necessary work for a complete and usable project. The contractor will establish an on-site staging area with a batch plant capable of producing 250 cubic yards of concrete per hour, located approximately 1.5 miles from the project site. All work must comply with federal, state, and local statutes and regulations.

Martin Brothers Construction Co., Sacramento, California, was awarded a $16,438,115 firm-fixed-price contract for the repair of the 400 Aircraft Parking Ramp – Phase Five. This contract provides for a design-bid-build project to demolish and replace deteriorated concrete pavement and drainage utilities. Work will be performed at Travis Air Force Base, California, and is expected to be completed by Nov. 24, 2026. This contract was a competitive acquisition and three offers were received. Fiscal 2025 transportation working capital funds in the amount of $16,438,115 are being obligated at time of award.
