Government Description
JAPAN GLOBAL HAWK CONTRACTOR LOGISTIC SUPPORT CONTRACT. THIS CONTRACT PROVIDES CONTRACTOR LOGISTICS SUPPORT SERVICES FOR THE JAPAN GLOBAL HAWK PROGRAM, INCLUDING IN-COUNTRY PERSONNEL, MISSION PLANNING, CONTRACTOR FIELD TEAMS, CONTRACTOR INVENTORY CONTROL, REACH BACK SUPPORT, AND SOFTWARE MAINTENANCE AT MISAWA AIR BASE, JAPAN. ADDITIONAL WORK INCLUDES AIRCRAFT SUSTAINMENT, THE PURCHASE OF REPLENISHMENT SPARES FOR OPERATIONAL USE AND DEPOT REPAIR, AS WELL AS SUPPORT FOR MAJOR SYSTEMS AND SUBSYSTEMS, MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT, MACHINED PARTS, COMPUTER HARDWARE, ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS, ENGINEERING SERVICES, AND SOFTWARE. THE CONTRACT IS CONDUCTED UNDER THE FOREIGN MILITARY SALES (FMS) PROGRAM TO JAPAN.

This contract provides for contractor logistics support services to include, but not limited to, in-country personnel, mission planning, contractor field teams, contractor inventory control, reach back support and software maintenance. Work will be performed in Misawa Air Base, Japan, and is expected to be completed Sept. 30, 2022. This contract involves Foreign Military Sales (FMS) to Japan and is the result of a sole-source acquisition. FMS funds in the full amount are being obligated at the time of award.
