LOGISTICS SUPPORT SERVICES (LSS) PROVIDES MATERIEL MANAGEMENT AND MAINTENANCE FOR TRANSIENT AIRCRAFT (TA) AND AEROSPACE GROUND EQUIPMENT (AGE) AT WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE (WPAFB), OTHER LOCATIONS IN OHIO, AND LOCATIONS OUTSIDE OHIO SUPPORTED BY WPAFB. INCLUDES FURNISHING ALL PERSONNEL, SUPERVISION, VEHICLES, EQUIPMENT, TOOLS, MATERIALS, AND FACILITIES NECESSARY TO PERFORM DEPLOYMENTS/DISTRIBUTION AND VEHICLE MANAGEMENT. SERVICES ENCOMPASS MANAGEMENT AND EXECUTION OF LOGISTICS FOR DEPLOYMENT AND DISTRIBUTION OPERATIONS, MOBILITY OPERATIONS, TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT, VEHICLE OPERATIONS, SMALL TERMINAL OPERATIONS, AIR FREIGHT AND PASSENGER TERMINAL MOVEMENT, SMALL TERMINAL DEPLOYMENTS AND TRAINING FUNCTIONS, AND WORLDWIDE MOVEMENT OF AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL, CARGO, AND PERSONAL PROPERTY, AS WELL AS SURFACE FREIGHT ELEMENT FUNCTIONS AND ARRANGEMENT OF PERSONAL PROPERTY MOVEMENT SERVICES.
