Overview
Government Description
The purpose of this contract is to provide engineering services for the guidance system of the minuteman III missile. This includes sustaining engineering and program management support for the minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) guidance subsystem, as well as engineering and manufacturing development and production of guidance-related components such as the pendulous integrating gyroscopic accelerometer. The contract also supports the Flight Test, Telemetry, And Termination (FT3) program, which replaces aging minuteman III ICBM flight test unique equipment to meet 30TH space wing range safety requirements and ensure the reliability of operational and developmental test launches. Additional work involves development, qualification, and delivery of test SETS to replace obsolete electrical and radio frequency test SETS, implementing initiatives to meet the FT3 flight schedule, and combining the Instrumentation Wafer Replacement Program (IWRP), Flight Destruct System (FDS), and Launch Support System (LSS) into a single program to support the 576TH flight test squadron and Air Force global strike command operational test launches.
