Government Description
Construct Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) and renovate Operating Rooms (OR) at the Oklahoma city VA medical center (OKVAMC), Oklahoma city, OK. Includes demolition and reconstruction of the 7TH floor interior spaces into three operating suites, post-op recovery, waiting room, and support spaces; demolition and reconstruction of the 8TH floor into individual intensive care patient rooms with private restrooms, staff support areas, and nurse stations; installation of a new hydraulic elevator; completion of elevator penthouse construction; correction of 8TH floor building envelope and roofing components; and mold remediation. Additional work includes refurbishment of ahu 36, duct cleaning for ahus 35 and 36, installation of dialysis boxes, upsize of dialysis circuit to 120V, installation of 9TH floor fire sprinklers, 9TH floor heat exchanger, OR camera and roof drain changes, and installation of a combi lock. Contractor will adhere to VA Technical Information Letter (TIL) requirements for all design and construction efforts.
