Background
The U.S. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey is issuing this Sources Sought Notice to perform market research to assist in determining the appropriate acquisition strategy for Water Treatment Services located at the Equipment Concentration Sites (ECS)/Area Maintenance Support Activity (AMSA) 103, 6467 Mikewood Blvd, Conneaut Lake, PA 16316 (PA118).

The contract aims to support the mission of the 99th Readiness Division by ensuring safe and compliant water treatment services.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all personnel, supplies, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, fuel and other items necessary for Water Treatment Services. Key tasks include:
- Conducting water sampling from the distribution system using EPA approved techniques.
- Utilizing a Maryland Certified Laboratory for analysis of samples including microbiology and inorganic parameters.
- Performing quarterly sampling for Total Coliform and Chlorine Residual, as well as Nitrate and Nitrite during the designated calendar quarters.
- Disinfecting potable wells and conducting preventive maintenance on potable water treatment systems including supply tanks, lines, pumps, injectors, filter housings and filters.
- Adjusting chemical feed pumps to maintain chlorine residual levels between 0.2 ppm and 0.4 ppm.
- Purchasing and utilizing NSF Certified sodium hypochlorite for water treatment processes.
- Flushing holding tanks quarterly to ensure cleanliness.

Period of Performance
The expected period of performance is one 12-month base period with four additional 12-month option periods.

The contract will be performed at the Equipment Concentration Sites (ECS)/Area Maintenance Support Activity (AMSA) 103, located at 6467 Mikewood Blvd, Conneaut Lake, PA 16316.
