Portable Toilet Rental and Maintenance for the Veteran Health Administration (VHA) George E. Wahlen VA Medical Center 500 Foothill Blvd, Building 4, Salt Lake City UT, 84148 Review attached document: P01 SOW - Portable Toilet Services Revised Type of Contract. A Firm-Fixed Price contract will be issued for this requirement. Period of Performance is: Base Year period - 6/1/2025 - 5/30/2026 Option Year period 1 - 6/1/2026 - 5/30/2027 Option Year period 2 - 6/1/2027 - 5/30/2028 Option Year period 3 - 6/1/2028 - 5/30/2029 Option Year period 4 - 6/1/2029 - 5/30/2030 This is anticipated to be a commercial service acquisition under the authority of FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. IMPORTANT NOTE: This RFI (Request for Information) is for information only. No award will be made from this RFI. QUALIFIED VENDOR: A qualified source has the a) necessary equipment, vehicles, personnel, resources and current operations as well as b) recent experience (within past 2 years) of performing services of a comparable size, scope and complexity, AND c) trained technicians to perform services. A qualified source also has current and valid registration in System for Award Management (SAM), https://www.sam.gov). Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking qualified vendors to provide portable toilet rental and maintenance services for the Veteran Health Administration (VHA) at the George E. Wahlen VA Medical Center located in Salt Lake City, UT.

This initiative aims to support the established 'SWEAT LODGE' services within the facility, ensuring that adequate sanitation facilities are available for patients and visitors. The contract will be a Firm-Fixed Price type and is part of a commercial service acquisition.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, supplies, and equipment necessary to deliver portable toilet services. Key tasks include:
- Providing one (1) ADA compliant portable toilet facility with weekly services.
- Ensuring units are clean, in good condition, weather-proof, and vented for air circulation.
- Weekly service includes waste removal, chemical replacement for odor masking, cleaning and disinfection of units, supply replacements, and necessary repairs.
- Emergency service availability on weekends and holidays.
- Proper disposal of trash left in units.
- Coordination with the Technical Representative for delivery and installation.
- Providing a 7-day emergency service phone number for damage reports or pumping needs.

Period of Performance
Base Year: 6/1/2025 - 5/30/2026; Option Year 1: 6/1/2026 - 5/30/2027; Option Year 2: 6/1/2027 - 5/30/2028; Option Year 3: 6/1/2028 - 5/30/2029; Option Year 4: 6/1/2029 - 5/30/2030.
