VA - Program and Project Management Support - MRAS

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), through the General Services Administration (GSA), is conducting market research to support the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) Office of Business Integration (OBI). The primary goal of this initiative is to enhance program and project management support, business analysis, and process improvement for various VBA organizations. These efforts are crucial in managing business initiatives and overseeing the design, development, implementation, modification, sustainment, and portfolio management of software applications and systems that serve veterans across different lines of business.

The scope of work involves providing comprehensive program/project management support both on-site and remotely. This includes offering process improvement services for the software applications and systems managed by VBA. VBA's lines of business cover a wide range of services including Compensation Service, Pension & Fiduciary, Education, Veteran Readiness and Employment, Outreach Transition & Economic Development, Life Insurance, and Loan Guaranty. These services aim to deliver benefits to veterans in a responsive manner. The contractor will need to adhere to strict compliance with applicable federal regulations such as the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA), Privacy Act of 1974, as well as VA-specific directives like VA Handbook 6500 related to information security risk management.
