USAMRDC PPA&E SBIR/STTR Support Services

Background
The U.S. Army Medical Research and Development Command (USAMRDC) is the Army's medical materiel developer, responsible for medical research, development, and acquisition. The USAMRDC's expertise helps establish and maintain the capabilities the Army needs to remain ready and lethal on the battlefield. The Command is headquartered at Fort Detrick, MD, with 8 subordinate commands located throughout the world.

The Plans, Programs, Analysis and Evaluation (PPA&E) Directorate is responsible for developing and presenting the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) and budget in support of core Army and Defense Health Program (DHP) funding. PPA&E also coordinates all aspects of the Defense Health Agency (DHA) SBIR/STTR Programs.

Work Details
The contractors working in PPA&E under this contract will provide program coordination for all aspects of the USAMRDC's SBIR/STTR Programs for the Director of PPA&E and SBIR Project Manager. This includes overseeing daily operations of the MRDC SBIR/STTR Programs, providing expert advice to small businesses and Government stakeholders on SBIR/STTR topics, preparing and submitting DHA SBIR/STTR Quarterly and Annual Reports, providing financial tracking via GFEBS, preparing responses to internal and external taskers and requests for information, coordinating all aspects of the DHA SBIR/STTR topic process and proposal evaluation process, mentoring and supporting small business concerns engaged within DHA Phase I and Phase II SBIR/STTR project portfolios.

The work environment for PPA&E is 100% telework with the possibility of in-person meetings. The PPA&E Office conducts team meetings, which may require travel to SBIR/STTR meetings within the U.S.
