USAF - MIDS-JTRS Field Level Intermediate Trouble Shooting Equipment - MRAS

The General Services Administration (GSA), on behalf of the United States Air Force (USAF), is conducting market research to explore potential vendors capable of supporting the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center's (AFLCMC) Aerial Networks Division. The primary goal is to identify qualified sources that can contribute to the sustainment and potential enhancement of the MIDS-JTRS Field Level Intermediate Trouble-shooting Equipment (MFLITE) kits. These kits are critical for data collection and trend analysis during the initial fielding of MIDS-JTRS terminals, ensuring operational readiness and efficiency by reducing aircraft downtime and saving labor hours.

The work requested involves developing a logistics sustainment plan focused on life-cycle management for hardware components associated with MFLITE kits deployed at various U.S. Government installations. This includes verifying vendor qualifications and technical expertise necessary for maintaining these systems. Additionally, there may be an optional scope that extends to engineering design, technical data package development, and production of new MFLITE kits. Vendors are expected to demonstrate their capability in performing maintenance activities such as hardware/software configuration verification, status checks, boot sequence assessments, as well as implementing security and recovery protocols.

Respondents are encouraged to provide detailed information about their experience in handling similar projects and their ability to meet the specific requirements outlined by AFLCMC/C3N. The responses will assist in refining the government's cost/capability analysis, acquisition strategies, and sustainment plans for these essential systems. While this Request for Information (RFI) does not constitute a formal solicitation or commitment from the government, it serves as a critical step in identifying potential partners who can support USAF's mission-critical communication infrastructure effectively.
