Description

The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), through the General Services Administration (GSA), is conducting market research to identify potential contractors for a project involving the repair and maintenance of elevator systems. This initiative is part of USACE's ongoing efforts to ensure the operational efficiency and safety of its facilities. The project is specifically located at the Sault Project Office in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan, a site that spans a 600-acre campus across several islands and requires navigation over lock gates.

The work required under this contract involves comprehensive repair, inspection, and maintenance services for elevator systems located in two main buildings: the Administration Building at 312 W Portage Avenue and the MSB Building at 119 E Water Street. Contractors are expected to provide all necessary resources including managerial, administrative, and direct labor personnel as well as transportation, equipment, tools, repair parts, supplies, and materials. The scope of work may be expanded through modifications or additional task orders if unforeseen needs arise during the contract period.

This contract will be structured as an Oasis+ Task Order. Contractors will need to coordinate their daily work plans with the Contract Officer's Representative (COR) to align with normal government working hours from 0700 to 1530 hours Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. However, there is flexibility for work outside these hours with prior coordination with the COR. This project represents an essential component of USACE's commitment to maintaining its infrastructure's reliability and safety standards.
