USACE - 81st Facilities Maintenance/Investment Services, Region G - MRAS

The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), in collaboration with the General Services Administration (GSA), is conducting market research to support facility investment services across the 81st Regional Division. The primary objective of this initiative is to ensure the Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization (SRM) of various military facilities. These efforts are crucial for maintaining the operational readiness and efficiency of the infrastructure within this region. The contract seeks to engage qualified contractors capable of delivering comprehensive facility maintenance services, ensuring that all assets are kept in optimal condition.

The scope of work under this contract emphasizes infrastructure sustainment as its core function, with minimal restoration and modernization activities included. Sustainment focuses on regular maintenance and repair tasks necessary to preserve the functionality and safety of facility assets through preventative maintenance procedures. While major rehabilitation and capital improvements fall under other Army programs, this contract allows for some major repairs, minor construction projects, and standalone demolition efforts as part of sustainment activities.

Contractors will be tasked with providing a wide range of services related to building and structural maintenance. This includes managing interior and exterior finishes, plumbing systems including backflow prevention equipment, emergency shower stations, electrical systems, structural repairs, locksmithing services, grease traps maintenance, exhaust systems management, lift station operations, septic tank upkeep, wash racks servicing, water tower tank maintenance, booster pump servicing among others. Additionally, building systems such as HVAC units including chillers and boilers; high volume low speed fans; building automated systems; fan coils; unit heaters; packaged terminal air conditioners; rooftop units will require regular attention.
