Background
The U.S. Government is seeking to obtain Television (TV) and Internet Services for the U.S. Embassy in Tokyo, Japan. This contract aims to provide essential communication services that support the embassy's operations and enhance its capabilities in delivering services to its staff and visitors. The contract will be a firm fixed price type, ensuring that costs are predictable and manageable for the government.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and services required to deliver TV and internet services as specified in the Scope of Work. The work is divided into two main parts:

Part 1 covers Television Services, which includes providing digital/HD TV services at three locations: the U.S. Embassy Chancery Building, the Ambassador’s Residence, and the Mitsui Housing Compound. The contractor must ensure that all required channels are available, including local Japanese channels and U.S. Digital Standard content.

Part 2 covers Internet Services, requiring a dedicated internet connection with specified bandwidths for each location. The contractor must also manage installation charges and ongoing service maintenance.

Period of Performance
The anticipated performance period is one year starting from July 1, 2025, with four one-year option years available and a potential six-month extension if exercised by the Government.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the U.S. Embassy Tokyo located at 1-10-5 Akasaka, Minato-ku, Tokyo 107-8420, Japan; the Ambassador’s Residence at the same address; and the U.S. Embassy Mitsui Housing Compound located at 2-1-1 Roppongi, Minato-ku, Tokyo 106-0032.
