Background
The contract is issued by the 402d Maintenance Support Group (MXSG) at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia. The goal of the contract is to provide all labor and technical services necessary for maintaining tools and parts service and managing materials for the Master Tool Crib and Satellite Tool Cribs. This is a commercial, 8(a) competitive requirement.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide labor and technical services to maintain tools and parts service and manage materials for the Master Tool Crib and Satellite Tool Cribs. Specific tasks include:
- Storing, issuing, managing, and disposing of common hand tools in support of the Consolidated Sustainment Activity Group (CSAG).
- Performing receipt and storage of materials, tools, tool kits, and equipment items using the Facilities and Equipment Maintenance System (FEMS).
- Inspecting incoming tool shipments for correct quantities and damage.
- Moving or setting up storage areas considering efficient use of space.
- Supporting supply personnel during inventories.
- Operating bar code wands, labeling equipment, laser scanning equipment, or computer terminals to track assigned items.
- Inspecting turned-in items for damage and re-issuing items according to AFSCMAN 21-102, Chapter 10 and WR-ALCI 21-128.
- Maintaining records using the FEMS database system.
- Performing minor repairs of tools in accordance with AFSCMAN 21-102, Chapter 10, WR-ALCI 21-128, TOs, and COTS Manuals.
- Receiving toolboxes from mechanics, performing quality checks, removing markings from tools, and transferring tools back into inventory.
