Background
The USDA Forest Service (USFS) is seeking to lease office space in John Day, Oregon, as part of its mission to provide necessary facilities for its operations. The goal of this contract is to secure a long-term lease that meets specific government requirements for safety and sustainability.

Work Details
The USDA Forest Service requires a lease for approximately 19,990 ABOA square feet of office space within the urban growth boundary of John Day, OR. The minimum space requirement is 17,000 ABOA square feet.

The lease must include:
- A total of 209 parking spaces, all surface parking with no structured parking.
- Approximately 1,540 ABOA square feet designated for interior storage space.
- Compliance with government standards for fire safety, accessibility, seismic considerations, and sustainability.
- A fully serviced lease is required. The government will consider both existing spaces and build-to-suit options.

Period of Performance
The full term of the lease is 20 years, with occupancy estimated to begin in March 2029.
