Description

The Department of Homeland Security, Transportation Security Administration (TSA) intends to solicit industry for small business firms to provide airport security screening services. Services include comprehensive screening of passengers and personal property at airports participating in the Screening Partnership Program. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 561612.

TSA anticipates making one or more awards to small business firms under the intended Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) solicitation for Security Screening Services. The ordering period under the existing IDIQs is 01 June 2016 through 31 May 2026 with individual task order solicitations and awards, for specific airport locations. The IDIQ awards resulting from this solicitation will contain an ordering period beginning on date of award through 31 May 2026 to match the existing SPP IDIQ ordering periods. This IDIQ solicitation will be issued on small business set-aside basis. Resulting task orders may be solicited on a full and open basis or set-aside for small businesses.

Comments or correspondence must be submitted in accordance with the information/instructions contained in the solicitation posting when it is released. Anticipated final RFP is estimated to be posted on https://beta.sam.gov/ in April 2020. Potential offerors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will only be available on the Beta System for Award Management (SAM) website, https://beta.sam.gov/

Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading the Request for Proposal (RFP) and all attachments when posted. It is the offerors responsibility to monitor the Beta SAM website for the release of the solicitation and any amendments that may follow.
