Sawcut Asphalt and Install Concrete

This is a pre-solicitation notice.

The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Southeast Area (SEA) Research Unit located at Stoneville, Mississippi, has a requirement to Sawcut Asphalt and Install Concrete. The work includes but is not limited to: The contractor sawcut existing asphalt, excavate existing asphalt and soil, furnish/install compacted crushed limestone, pour Concrete Slab @ 4000 PSI with steel rebar. This project is on the east side of Bldg. #21 at USDA Cotton Ginning Laboratory, located at 111 Experiment Station Road in Stoneville, MS.

USDA ARS SEA intends to issue a Request for Proposals for a firm fixed priced contract. The solicitation is anticipated to be a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code for this requirement is 237310 with a size standard of $45.0 M. Contractors shall not directly contact the facility to discuss this requirement. During the solicitation phase, contractors will be provided the opportunity for a site visit and to ask any relevant questions.

This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute the Request for Proposal (RFP). The Government anticipates issuing an RFP for this requirement on about April 02, 2023. This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for these services.
