Request for Quote - Visible Wavelength Wavemeter

Background
The Department of Commerce, specifically the Photonics and Optomechanics Group in the Microsystems and Nanotechnology Division, is seeking a visible wavelength wavemeter to support their research on nonlinear and quantum integrated photonics devices. The wavemeter will be utilized for the characterization of laboratory lasers and nonlinear photonic devices developed in their lab. The goal of this contract is to acquire a device that meets specific technical requirements for accurate measurement in the visible and near-infrared wavelength ranges.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide a Firm Fixed Price quotation for a visible wavelength wavemeter composed of two items. The minimum technical specifications for the wavemeter include:
1. Wavelength coverage: 400 nm to 1100 nm
2. Absolute accuracy: ±200 MHz at all wavelengths
3. Measurement resolution: 5 MHz or better at all wavelengths
4. Optical input: single mode optical fiber with FC/PC or FC/APC connector
5. Minimum average input power for continuous wave laser measurement: 0.05 microWatts
6. Data acquisition speed: at least 500 Hz
7. Built-in calibration source included
8. Proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controller provided for laser stabilization to a user-defined frequency for up to two lasers (not vendor specific)
9. Standalone software for real-time display of wavelength analysis data, capable of controlling the multichannel switch from CLIN0002.
