Raised Access Floor Upgrade

Background
The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) is issuing this contract for the Raised Access Floor Replacement at Site B, located at Building 2324, Patch Barracks, Stuttgart, Germany.

This facility provides mission-critical computer processing resources and support to various government agencies on a continuous basis. DISA aims to ensure high availability and energy efficiency in its Tier III redundant datacenter operations.

Work Details
The scope of work includes the complete replacement of all raised access floor panels with new panels while upgrading some access flooring structures.

The contractor will be required to lift existing equipment for the removal and installation of the raised access floor panels and clean the structural floor during this process. The work encompasses project management, general requirements, and specific tasks:
1) Project Management - Develop a detailed project schedule, investigate existing conditions, conduct weekly status meetings, and prepare shop drawings for government approval;
2) Upgrade Raised Access Floor - Replace all access floor panels and gaskets, install stringers where necessary, and manage lifting of existing racks;
3) Project Close-Out - Provide documentation including test reports, as-built drawings, warranty letters, and an Operations & Maintenance Manual.

Additional requirements include surge support not exceeding 5% of total costs and potential travel costs as part of the proposal.
