VISN 6 Court Reporter Services
Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically the Network Contracting Office 6, is seeking to procure court reporter services for the VISN 6 Veterans Affairs Medical Centers (VAMCs) and Community Based Out-Patient Clinics (CBOCs) located in North Carolina and Virginia. The goal of this contract is to ensure that VA Counsel can effectively represent the Department in various legal proceedings by providing accurate and timely court reporting services.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide comprehensive court reporting services including:
1. Attendance at hearings and recording all spoken statements as required by law.
2. Delivering transcripts in various formats, including original copies, condensed versions, and electronic formats, with specific turnaround times based on urgency.
3. Providing all necessary personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, and supervision to fulfill court reporting duties.
4. Ensuring compliance with federal/state licensing requirements and maintaining a notarial appointment for swearing in witnesses.
5. Deliverables include qualified court reporters, marked exhibits, and adherence to quality control standards for all transcripts produced.
6. Services will be performed at specified VAMCs including Asheville, Durham, Hampton, Salem, Fayetteville, Richmond, and Salisbury.

Period of Performance
The contract will span four years starting from October 1, 2025 to September 30, 2030 with options for additional years.

Services will be performed at various locations including Asheville VAMC (Asheville NC), Durham VAMC (Durham NC), Hampton VAMC (Hampton VA), Salem VAMC (Salem VA), Fayetteville VAMC (Fayetteville NC), Hunter Holmes McGuire VAMC (Richmond VA), and W.G. Bill Hefner VAMC (Salisbury NC).
