Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing this solicitation for onsite Audiologist and Audiology Health Technician services to support the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System. The goal of this contract is to provide high-quality audiological care to veterans, ensuring they receive necessary evaluations, treatments, and follow-up care in a timely manner. This requirement is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs) under the authority of Title 38 USC 8153.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide a minimum of three (3) Audiologists and one (1) Medical Assistant (Audiology Health Technician) on-site at the Baton Rouge Veterans Affairs Outpatient Clinic. Key tasks include:

1. Providing audiological evaluations and treatment services to veterans.
2. Conducting hearing aid education and maintenance, including accurate ear mold impressions and tracking hearing aid orders.
3. Performing routine repairs of hearing aids and troubleshooting issues faced by veterans.
4. Documenting all patient interactions and care provided in the medical records as per VA standards.
5. Ensuring compliance with all relevant VA policies, directives, and guidelines related to healthcare delivery.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of five years, with specific ordering periods outlined for each year from May 1, 2025, through April 30, 2030.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the Baton Rouge Veterans Affairs Outpatient Clinic located at 7968 Essen Park Avenue, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70809.
