Description

MOBILE MRI SERVICES
Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing this solicitation for Mobile MRI Services to support the Milo C. Huempfner Health Care Center located in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The goal of this contract is to provide essential mobile Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) services to enhance patient care and ensure timely access to diagnostic imaging for veterans. This procurement is specifically set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), emphasizing the VA's commitment to supporting veteran-owned enterprises.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide comprehensive Mobile MRI Services, which include:

1. Management, labor, equipment, supplies, medications (including contrast), tools, and maintenance of all contractor-furnished equipment necessary for mobile MRI services.

2. Services must be provided a minimum of ten hours per day on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, excluding federal holidays.

3. The contractor is responsible for ordering and storing IV contrast and ensuring its safe administration.

4. All equipment used must be FDA approved and compatible with the VA's physical space and information systems.

5. The contractor will furnish a handicapped accessible MRI Mobile Trailer equipped with necessary facilities for monitoring patients and conducting emergency procedures.

6. The MRI scanner system provided must meet specific technical requirements including a 1.5 Tesla Wide Bore Magnet with various imaging capabilities.

7. Maintenance of the mobile unit and MRI scanner is the contractor's responsibility to ensure a minimum 95% uptime performance rate.

8. Contractor personnel must include at least two certified MRI Technologists per service day along with any additional support staff as needed.

Period of Performance
The contract period is from January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026, with four one-year options available that may extend performance through December 31, 2030.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Milo C. Huempfner Health Care Center located at 2851 University Avenue, Green Bay, WI 54311.
