Tashodra Rogers Contracting Officer Page 2 of 2 Response to Questions on Solicitation: 36C26222R0151 Is the government requirement two (2) Perfusionist for each case, which is the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) standard (N+1)? Availability is needed 24/7/365 is why two (2) perfusionist is requested in case of illness, vacation, unexpected departures, etc. The need is based on hours and not FTE. Please see the price schedule. If the requirement is the N+1 national standard, then the contractor will need to provide 2.5 FTE to meet the 24/7/365 coverage and N+1 standard for cardiac cases. This is equivalent to providing services in a state-of-the-art civilian medical treatment facility and meeting the standard of quality care. Given the ABCP standard, the national shortage of Perfusionist and the current Perfusionist market salary rate in San Diego, would the government consider increasing the maximum total value of the contract above $3,000,000?
