PKA - Courier Services FY24 - 6 MDG

Background
The Department of the Air Force, 6th Air Refueling Wing (AMC) at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida, has issued a combined synopsis/solicitation for Medical Courier Services. The requirement is set aside for Small Business and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 492110 with a size standard of 1,500 employees.

Work Details
The contractor is required to furnish all labor, equipment, material, supervision, transportation, and other items and services necessary to perform courier services for the 6th Medical Group at MacDill AFB, FL, and Sabal Park Clinic in Brandon, FL. The services include pick-up and delivery of pre-packaged clinical specimens, supplies, medical records, echoes, outgoing mail, prescriptions, linen, and clinic x-rays from Sabal Park Clinic and deliver to the designated area at the 6th Medical Group. Three scheduled runs daily are needed, as well as unscheduled requests to pick-up or deliver items to or from the 6th Medical Group and any other facility requested.

Period of Performance
The contract includes a base year with a period of performance from April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025. Additionally, there are four option years with periods of performance from April 1 to March 31 for each subsequent year through 2029.

Place of Performance
The contract work will be performed at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida.
