Background
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) is seeking to procure Arvotec Feeders for the Allegheny National Fish Hatchery (NFH). The goal of this contract is to acquire feeder equipment that is compatible with the existing feeding system at the hatchery, which is essential for rearing species such as lake trout, bloater, and cisco. The feeders must meet specific operational requirements to ensure they can be integrated with current systems and effectively support fish rearing operations.

The solicitation includes the purchase of the following items:
- Electric Spreader HD: 1 EA
- Feed Mixer w/hopper: 1 EA
- Arvotec 1-6L Hopper Hanger: 14 EA
- Galvanized Stand: 1 EA
- 50 I Hopper: 1 EA
- 9 I Hopper: 10 EA
- Arvotec TD 2000 Feeder: 10 EA
- Spare Springs: 50 EA
- Drum Holder Pin: 10 EA
- Arvotec Dosing Drum (03 Gr/24 Cup): 20 EA
- Arvotec Dosing Drum (1gr/24cups, 1.4g/hr): 10 EA
- Freight charges apply.

All items are required to be delivered FOB Destination to FWS Allegheny NFH located at 6616 Hemlock Road, Warren, PA 16365. The feeders must be identical to the current Arvotec Feeders used at the hatchery and must operate on existing controllers with interchangeable parameters. Specifications for the feeders include:
1. Compatibility with existing feeding systems.
2. Operation on a power supply of 24 VAC.
3. Capacity to accommodate feed sizes from 75 micron to 4.0 mm.
4. Minimum dosing accuracy of 95% or greater.
5. Minimum hopper capacity of 9 liters.

Anticipated from August 30, 2024, to November 30, 2024.
