OSD - Risk Mgmt Framework - MRAS

The General Services Administration (GSA), on behalf of the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), is conducting market research for a project involving the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). The focus of this project is to support the Chief Information Officer's (CIO) Office within the DIA, specifically addressing needs related to risk management and multi-level security systems. This initiative is part of a broader effort to enhance cybersecurity and information assurance across defense intelligence operations.

The primary objective of this solicitation is to secure services that will assist in implementing and maintaining a robust Risk Management Framework (RMF) for Multi-Level Security (MLS) systems. These systems are critical in ensuring that sensitive information is appropriately protected at various classification levels while enabling secure communication and data sharing. The work involves providing comprehensive support services to bolster the security posture of existing MLS systems, ensuring they meet stringent cybersecurity standards and compliance requirements.

Within this framework, the selected contractor will be responsible for delivering expert guidance on risk assessment, mitigation strategies, and continuous monitoring processes. Additionally, they will provide technical support for system integration and maintenance activities related to MLS environments. The goal is to fortify these systems against potential cyber threats while maintaining operational efficiency and effectiveness within the Cyber and Security Division.
