The purpose of the 12/09/2021 update is to provide notice that a Request for Information has been posted to further engage with industry and to continue its efforts to capture industry feedback to improve planning for the follow-on Antarctic requirement for Science & Engineering Support for the United States Antarctic Program. NOTICE OF VIRTUAL INDUSTRY DAY FOR
OPERATIONS AND SCIENCE SUPPORT TO THE
UNITED STATES ANTARCTIC PROGRAM

The National Science Foundation (NSF) manages the U.S. Antarctic Program (USAP) on behalf of the Nation. USAP encompasses all U.S. scientific research and related logistics in Antarctica as well as aboard ships in the Southern Ocean. USAP's world class science relies on seamless integration between operations and research support. NSF is beginning acquisition planning for a follow-on to the current Antarctic Support Contract and we want to hear from you.

The purpose of this notice is to inform interested parties that a Virtual Industry Day for this requirement will be held in accordance with the details in the attached document.

Please note, pre-registration is required for Industry Day attendance.

This Notice should not be construed (1) as a commitment by the National Science Foundation to enter into any agreement with any entity participating in the Industry Day, (2) as a commitment to issue any RFP concerning the subject of this notice, or (3) as a request for proposals, request for quote, or request for information.

The Government will not reimburse any interested party for any costs associated with attendance of this Virtual Industry Day. The Government reserves all rights not to respond to some or all of the questions posed and/or to reject in whole or in part any industry input as a result of this Notice.
