Notice of Intent to Sole Source NVG Repair

PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE PUBLISHED. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to negotiate a one-time, sole source, firm fixed price contract with L3 Technologies, Inc., Address: 9 Akira Way, Londonderry, New Hampshire, 03053 for the purpose of repairing L3 Panoramic NVG's. The FBI possesses NVG's produced by L3 Technologies Inc. These NVG's require parts replacement due to wear and tear. These NVG's are proprietary to L3 Technologies, Inc. and they are the only manufacturer of these parts. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, interested parties may identify their interests and/or capabilities statement to this requirement by contacting Contract Specialist via email only at bames@fbi.gov, no later than 1600 CDT on April 17, 2023. Responses sent via other means (i.e. via telephone call, facsimile transmission, etc.) will not be considered. Information received will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is at the discretion of the Government.
